1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ItIsOnMe.org, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.
2. Description of Services
ItIsOnMe.org is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Assistance Platform. We provide a platform where Donors can fund store credits ("Credits") for specific goods and services (such as meals or groceries) from verified local merchant partners ("Merchants"), or sponsor the direct payment of utility and service provider bills ("Direct Bill Pay"). These Credits and payments are facilitated for the benefit of individuals in need ("Beneficiaries"). ItIsOnMe.org operates as a tax-exempt charitable organization.
3. User Eligibility
Users must be at least 18 years old. By using the platform, you represent that you meet this requirement.
4. User Roles and Responsibilities
4.1 Beneficiaries
- Beneficiaries do not receive cash. They receive digital Vouchers redeemable only at specific Merchant locations, or benefit from payments sent directly to a verified service provider.
- All information provided to request assistance, including uploaded bills or documents, must be truthful and accurate.
- Vouchers and bill payments are non-transferable and have no cash value to the Beneficiary.
- Misrepresentation may result in suspension or permanent ban from the platform.
4.2 Donors (Sponsors)
- Donations are generally non-refundable and are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
- Donors are funding a specific service/good to be provided by a third-party Merchant or service provider.
- Donors acknowledge that funding a Need does not establish a personal relationship with the Beneficiary.
4.3 Merchant Partners
- Merchants must be verified business entities with valid tax documentation.
- Merchants agree to honor valid ItIsOnMe.org Credits for the specified goods or services.
- Merchant suggestions provided by users undergo a verification process. ItIsOnMe.org reserves the right to reject any suggested merchant that does not meet platform standards.
- Payouts to Merchants are handled through our licensed third-party payout partners.
5. Verification and Payouts
We reserve the right to:
- Verify the identity and legitimacy of all Merchants and Beneficiaries.
- Approve, reject, or remove any Voucher request at our discretion.
- Suspend payouts to Merchants if fraud or breach of terms is suspected.
Verification is intended to ensure platform integrity but does not eliminate all risk.
6. Fees and Payments
ItIsOnMe.org may charge a platform service fee for facilitating the marketplace connection and voucher management. All fees are clearly disclosed at the time of purchase.
7. No Direct Communication
Users may not contact each other outside the platform or attempt to exchange personal contact information. The platform may mediate or restrict communications.
8. Intellectual Property
All platform content, trademarks, and software are the property of ItIsOnMe.org or its licensors.
9. Disclaimers
The platform is provided "as is." We do not warrant that services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all needs are legitimate.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ItIsOnMe.org shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from platform use.
11. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless ItIsOnMe.org from claims arising from misuse of the platform or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts at any time for violations of these Terms or to protect platform integrity.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
